    Description

    Crusader Kings II explores one of the defining periods in world history in an experience crafted by the masters of Grand Strategy. Medieval Europe is brought to life in this epic title rife with rich strategic and tactical depth.

    5 of the Crusader Kings II devs were asked about their favorite feature in the game. Here is what they answered:

    Doomdark - Henrik Fåhraeus – Project Leader & Lead Designer.

    "I love the opinion system in Crusader Kings II. In the first game, you had a whole slew of overlapping concepts: stability, loyalty, "badboy", friends, rivals, and relations between countries. When you think about it, these are all basically the same thing: the views that characters have of each other, i.e. opinions. The new system unifies all of these concepts very nicely. You can see exactly why characters feel the way they do about each other, and it has a clear effect on the gameplay. It is unilateral, meaning your character can love another character, while that character still hates your guts. Needless to say, I am pushing for a similar system in our future games... "

    "One of the game mechanics I like the most is plots. To be able to secretly plan for the demise of a hated enemy, or presenting your liege with a demand when you know you have the military power behind you to back it up is very enjoyable. Plots also help making AI characters come to life, as it gives them personal goals which they will pursue rather ruthlessly. Plots were introduced in Sengoku and was my favourite feature there as well, but with CKII I think we have managed to take them to another level. It's definitely a game mechanic I hope to see in more of our games from now on."

    "I love it when I notice that some random character in the periphery does something interesting or has something interesting happen to him or her. I sometimes keep track of what characters do their entire lives, following them around as they marry their hunchback niece and murder their brothers in an effort to reach their goals. Keeping an eye on your neighbors is not only an interesting distraction but also a great way to figure out who is vulnerable and who might become vulnerable with some nudging in the right direction."

    "Walking around in the office and hearing what people discuss during playing sessions. The situations can become so bizarre and weird. "I have too many sons, I can't give them all land! I'll need to marry them off or kill them I guess." Gives a certain flair to the conversations nowadays."

    "My favorite feature about CK2 is the succession wars. There you are, running your kingdom, everything is going great. Then BOOM - your ruler dies, half of your kingdom rises in rebellion when the evil twin brother tries to wrest the crown from your heir. It makes the game really interesting, because you really need to think about which titles you give to whom. You can't really overpower your heir too much either, since he might actually try to take the crown _before_ the current king dies "

    complicado é pagar 40 Obamas por um jogo da paradox que a gente saber q vai ter 300 bugs e 300 patch, a julgar pelos outros.

    Por outro lado é um puta jogo, assim como os outros, mas ja tem q comprar ciente do ônus

    nao vejo onus nos jogos da Paradox, o suporte é otimo.


    o que eu vejo por exemplo é o que o HoI3 nao caiu muito bem nessa engine deles. WW2 não combina com o modo "sandbox" dessa engine.

    HoI2 > HoI3

    tanto verdade que muitos jogadores preferem jogar DH e AoD


    mas essa ultima engine caiu bem por exemplo, com o ViC e com o CK2. O modo sandbox combina perfeitamente com esses dois jogos.

    CK2 está muito bem acabado.


    pode gastar. vale a pena comprar produtos da paradox, para eles poderem continuar desenvolvendo.

    do Vic e do Ck não posso falar pq não joguei muito.

    Só pra confirmar, mesmos com os bug o HoI, desde o Arma até o FTML, são os melhores jogos q jah joguei.

    CHANGE LOG:

    - Loading a save where you had marked characters of interest or non-interest will no longer crash the game
    - Fixed a bug with the de jure modifier not being initialized correctly for most kingdoms and above
    - Fixed a tooltip crash in the Realm Tree
    - Fixed an issue with long MP game connection times
    - Fixed an MP OOS issue that would manifest a day or two after starting
    - Fixed an issue with burgher heirs retaining burgher laws when inheriting a feudal demesne
    - Fixed several script errors with the special CoAs in Dynasty CoA Pack DLC
    - The texture in the Dynasty CoA Pack DLC now works correctly on all graphics cards
    - Children of rulers now automatically get the appropriate claims when you start a new game (they don't need to be scripted in)
    - Fixed the Steam install script so it won't run every time you start the application
    - In order to ask for an invasion CB, you must be at peace and either have a claim on a primary title of the target's, or have fewer holdings in your realm
    - AI will now change tech focus
    - Revised reverse demands for CBs to make them more interesting
    - Diplo AI: Will not allow matrilineal marriages with unimportant characters
    - Diplo AI: Will say no to marriages that would make valuable courtiers (councillors) move
    - Diplo AI: Will be reluctant to let skilled courtiers move to marry
    - Diplo AI: Will now sometimes grant titles to unlanded courtiers again!
    - Diplo AI: Fixed a bug where a completely beaten AI would surrender too easy
    - Diplo AI: Muted AI spam about marriages if player already declined offer
    - Diplo AI: Will not declare religious wars for overseas territories that de jure belong to an independent duke or king of its own faith
    - Invasion AI: Better at not disembarking into an enemy army
    - Invasion AI: Optimized prio target selection
    - Invasion AI: Fixed an issue with pointless counter-invasions
    - Invasion AI: Will now load armies in port when possible, in order to avoid loading armies onto the wrong fleets
    - Invasion AI: Should now understand how to target peasant rebels
    - Resigning now changes the checksum, so you cannot join an MP game without restarting the game (which would cause an OOS anyway.)
    - Boosted the strength of peasant rebel units by 50%
    - Fixed a bug with the CB for the Institute Gavelkind plot
    - Upped the length of truces to 10 years (from 3)
    - Added fractions to the revolt risk in the province view
    - Added a monthly law vote check to make sure laws pass when they should
    - Fixed a bug with port buildings not giving more galleys
    - Fixed a problem with running the game on large TV screens
    - Raised mercenary hire costs a little bit
    - Flank leader damage bonus changed from 1% to 2% for each point in martial
    - Fixed an issue where granting titles would disband troops
    - Fixed an issue with a plot where the target would retain his title even when he folded
    - Fixed a problem with playing the Earl of Durhamn causing immediate game over
    - Ask for ransom interaction can now be initiated with the liege
    - Ask to ransom interaction in the diplomacy window now has a proper title when selecting target
    - Rebalanced the initial situation between William, Harald and Harold
    - Gave Edward III a claim on France so the 100 years war bookmark will work correctly
    - Corrected the history of Gevaudan to avoid dead "Serene Doges" of France at startup and make sure it has prince bishops at the end
